Stephen Powell joined Smith Price in May 1990, only months after establishment of the firm and has been Senior Partner since 2005. Memberships include RICS, IPF and IoD.

Before Smith Price, he had been at Churston Heard for nearly 20 years, where he started in retail agency and went on to set up and run the valuation and investment departments.

He oversees the investment activities of the firm and acts for a range of institutional, property company and private clients. Much of his work involves the appraisal, acquisition and disposal of investment portfolios. He has worked closely with specific clients to create portfolios for them.  In 2005, he purchased the £300 million Boots retail portfolio for REIT Asset Management.
