We are able to advise on all aspects of out of town retailing from the conceptual stage of a new scheme right through to letting and funding of new parks. We have prosecuted expansion plans for occupiers and undertaken programs of disposals of surplus units. We also undertake rent reviews, lease renewals and tenancy restructuring.
The largest out of town transaction we have been involved with, was the acquisition of the £700 million Chartwell Land Portfolio for a consortium comprising Pillar Property, Hercules Unit Trust, Morley Fund Management and The Junction Fund. This comprised 15 large retail parks and 5 development sites and totalled over 2.4 million sq ft.
At the end of 2004 we sold the Wycombe Retail Park for Thames Water for nearly £70 million. This marked the end of a project we had been involved in for over three years, having been brought in at the earliest concept stage of the development to liaise with the master planners.
