| Hirsute Smith Price embraces Movember | |||||||
|
November proved a very hairy month for Smith Price as five of the younger members of the firm – namely Tim Preston, Daniel Aboud, Rhys Williams, Stuart Kiddie (allegedly) and James Cartmell - took part in Movember. Movember is an annual, truly global, month-long celebration of the moustache that highlights men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer. Smith Price were happy to play their part by cultivating facial hair, much to the amusement (and horror) of colleagues, family and friends, while raising a small sum of donations in the process. All of their efforts have been captured here for posterity, barring Stuart who opted to stand the other side of the camera. To date, Movember has raised over £30 million globally for the fight against prostate cancer and depression in men. And as a direct result, more importantly, it has helped raise awareness of male health issues has improved with Movember helping to spread messages directly to millions around the world. Going forward, Movember will continue to work towards helping to change established habits and attitudes and make men aware of the risks they face, thereby increasing early detection, diagnosis and effective treatment. |
