Smith Price appointed by Austin Reed to perform Professional Services
	National retailer Austin Reed has instructed Smith Price to act on its behalf in a number of professional matters, as well as representing its subsidiary Country Casuals. The company trades from 42 standalone stores and 29 concessions, as of January 2006, having begun as a single shop operation in 1900 in Fenchurch Street.   Austin Reed is dedicated to tailoring, ready-to-wear clothing and grooming for both male and female customers. A flagship unit was launched on Regent Street in 1911 and, following major refurbishment in 2002, continues to trade strongly as the leading store in the portfolio.   Country Casuals (CC) was acquired by the Austin Reed Group in January 1998. As a result of successful growth since its acquisition, it represented 50% of the Group’s retail sales in the year to January 2002. Indeed CC is regarding as one of the leading women’s clothing, and accessories brand, in the contemporary classics sector.
